To ensure the safety of the people in the building when it is on fire, we have rehearsed the procedures and are aware of what to do at TOTAL Learning Academy. In fact, this is also a legal requirement.

The goal of fire drills is to have a good “habit” formed and the children know what the signal is. Have you ever done a fire drill with a group of kids, when it has been unplanned and they have never heard the alarm before? IT WILL BE COMPLETE CHAOS! We do fire drills several times so that children know exactly what to do and they have confidence in their ability.

The drills need to be practiced at various times of the day, using different escape routes. In case of an emergency it is important to get out of the building in the quickest route. Children will be saved by practicing the drills.
