Brainworks-Total recognises the power of technology to enhance and enrich learning and we utilise technology to provide high-quality learning for students. We aspire to develop students to become confident users of technology; at the same time, it is equally our task to take the lead in ensuring teachers and students also know how to apply these skills safely and ethically, and to develop opportunities for student leadership wherever possible.
The use of technology to support learning is embedded across all curriculum areas throughout primary and secondary school. Beginning with the use of specialised applications to support specific skills development, as students progress through the school they learn to use an increasing range of devices and applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, FrontPage, Photoshop, etc.
At the heart of all our schools and programs are fluency labs. Our state-of-the-art computer labs are available every day to all our students. Children learn to operate and care for this technology. They become computer savvy through our ICT courses, focusing on both theory and practical applications.
