We place emphasis on this area because we believe that learning takes place as much in the body as in the mind, and so we place a special importance on providing plenty of physical activity.

Physical Movement
We help students to acquire a better sense of balance, body awareness, coordination, flexibility, strength, cardiovascular conditioning, physical endurance, and stamina. We place emphasis on this area because we believe that learning takes place as much in the body as in the mind, and so we place a special importance on providing plenty of physical activity. Additionally, it is especially important for very young learners to develop and refine their motor skills, so we have created a hands-on program in which children can have sustained practice when completing tasks. Even slightly older students appreciate the chance to move around as they learn, and so we strive to keep our classrooms active as we integrate kinesthetic and tactile elements into lessons at all levels and in all content areas.
This has also affected how we acquire and renovate the physical grounds of our campuses. Most branches have larger rooms or fields that offer wide open space for more moving around, and most of our classrooms have desks and chairs that can be manipulated in a number of ways, depending on the activity.
